I have multiple audio devices on my machine and do not get any conflicts as such. It rather depends on the application I am using to sort out which audio device(s) it uses for input and output. For example, I can use the standard Windows Sound Recorder to take input from the sound card or a USB audio mixer (but not both at the same time) and in a similar fashion, use my copy of CoolEdit to send output to the sound card or the USB mixer while taking input from either one as well. I would expect the applications that you are using to have similar options to select the audio device used for input and output. Hope this helps. Cheers. Spexx.
