Darwin,
Reboot should clear the memory. Check Device Manager immediately. If the Situation
is the same, click the + sign to reveal the exact Network Card.
Right click on the Network card, select remove then OK your way out of DM and reboot.
Windows will locate and reinstall the Network card and appropriate Drivers. Once
back at desktop recheck Firewall and Services.
