Put the windows xp cd in the dvd/cd-rw drive and tried to boot the computer. While booting (BIOS ensures that the computer boots the cd drive first) the computer tried to access the cd drive but failed. After a while it gave up. I then disabled the cd drive in device manager and connected the external cd burner. Its showing up as F drive. Then I put the xp install cd in the external burner and tried to boot the computer. This time, the computer kept giving the message: please insert the restore disc and press any key. Each time I kept hitting a key, the same message kept coming back. I am using the restore disc given by fujitsu.
