ok i do apologize for not stating the name of the program, i didnt do it cuz i have
tried using this programs feature to fix it and i have tried windows sound thing
and nothing works, the program is windows blinds, i applied a halloween theme that
has an annoying crashing thunder sound that goes off on only certain windows i close,
not sure why it does not do it on all of them, i have gone into windows blinds and
told it to not apply sounds and that did not work, the related program is the sound
packager program which i have gone into and tried applying a dfferent theme too,
i have looked in those themes cuz it allows me to there for something like a sound
that goes off when i close something and found it and told it not to make a sound
and ya that did not work, windows blinds does not have a feature in its program where
i can view the sounds associated with a theme and turn them on and off, the sound
theme for it is not even listed in the sound packager program or in my sound settings
for windows, nor are any of the themes sound packager has, i guess it is all independent,
anyways i have not yet tried to make my own theme using windows sound settings but
i guess thats cuz i do not think it will work which is why i asked for a registry
tweak of some sort. anyways so thats my issue in detail. i hope this helps in my
quest for a registry fix.
