Explorer crashes and restarts itself Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 11:12 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Aaron (1 messages posted) After it crashes it restarts itself and lasts about seven seconds before it crashes again. I've observed it in Task Manager and it will increase in size rapidly until the process is about 27mb then it will crash again. Worst comes to worst I have no problem formatting the OS drive and reinstalling but I wish to avoid that if possible. I've done a virus scan and a repair install. Still no luck. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks.
