Hello
I recently did a system restore as my pc seemd to be acting a bit off, hwoever this
was a bad mistake

>When it rebooted the monitor dispalyed the bios then a little white cursosr then
no image at all. as I was unable to see anything I had to kill the power.
>
>However Upon rebooting again the pc was messed up. When the desktop apeared I notice
dimmdiately that no icons appeared in the system tray and also I couldnt open any
ex file or open task manager (later attempts showed the icons appeared but only after
5 minutes)>
>
>I then tried to restore again to an earlier date & then back to the original and
neither worked. I then tried a repair, that didnt work and finally a full reinstall.
>
>As i mainly chose xp for the safety net of the restore Im somewhat annoyed that
it seems to of wrecked my machine, as such I wanted to ask if it was the restore
program itself that wa sunstable, or the fact I kileld the power when there was no
image. as until I know xp isnt really worth risking the system restore with
>
>Thanks to any replies
