Missing or Corrupt File Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 8:49 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by MCD4x4 (60 messages posted) I am getting an error message that says: \system32\hal.dll. Please reinstall a copy of the above file. I just reinstalled a copy of Windows XP and I am receiving this error message. Also, I am connected directly to the internet through an ethernet cable and it won't let me connect. Says that it can't find a connection. I have never run into this problem before. Can anyone help??
