IE8 opening Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 6:15 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Brock Jones (177 messages posted) When I open IE8 beta it starts in a flash but then waits for about 5 seconds before it will do anything. If I go immediately to google something I wind up in the address block (when it finally actually starts) instead of where I started (in the search block). Is this normal? Can I do anything about it.
