Try turning off the requirement to enter a password when you logon or return from your screen saver. Then reboot and turn them back on (if you want them) one at a time and check to see if there is still a problem.

Select Run from the Start Menu, type control userpasswords2, and click Ok.
Turn off the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer option, and click Ok.

On the Screen Saver tab in Desktop Properties, uncheck On Resume, Password Protect.
