A windows screen has been modified Monday, October 6, 2008 at 7:31 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by rlamoreaux (2 messages posted) I was infected with something. It modified my desktop and put a big red virus detected sign on it. It also removed the desktop and screen saver tabs. I have pretty much cleaned it up except. On boot, I get a screen that has the windows logo on it then I get this red warning screen then the windows starting screen. finally the user logon screen. Where is this bad boot screen located?
