Felicity - you really need a technician to fix this issue (straightforward job for
someone like me) - I'm assuming you're a competent computer user, not a techie. Said
technician should have access to requisite resources (for me, that basically means
a bartpe Cd - you boot from it and then restore the registry hives from a recent
backup kept by system restore (assuming you haven't disabled that) in system volume
information folder.
