System Restore wont work. =( Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 3:26 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by chris9169 (2 messages posted) Well here goes, ive got a really bad virus, ive scanned with node32, ad-aware, system mechanic, got rid of everything i can. and it's still hi-jacked my google, pop-ups all the time on websites.. so im at a loss, then someone told me i could system restore i go on system restore option, select a system restore date and when im at the next point, it wont let me click next... So, i try different system restore points but it still wont work =( my computer is running so slow at the moment and i know someones put a pretty big and complicated virus on my computer as none of the anti virus can pick it up. ive also had the blue screen of death a couple of times.
