POP UP's Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 6:16 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mike (11 messages posted) I have been getting popup's from something I downloaded for my mom. I get a popup about whatever it might be then comes a box saying my computer might be infected. It has a ok or cancel button. I hit the X & close it out. It still throws out a popup window. When I close that it shows a download box. I close that & it wants to download it anyway. It ask's me if I want to run or save. When I close that box it's done till I open my IE. I have run Adware, Spybot, RegClean & I also have the paid for version of AVG. Can someone help me with this? I have tried everything I know to do.
