Wrong icon displays in 'My Computer' Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 2:00 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Judy (5 messages posted) In the directory in 'My Computer' or 'Windows Explorer' my .jpg, .bmp, & .gif files all display the 'Windows Picture/Fax Viewer' Icon in front of them, even though I've changed (in tools>folder options>file types) the program they open with to Paint Shop Pro. They DO open correctly in PSP, but the wrong icon keeps showing up beside them in the directory listing, and it is annoying. Would appreciate help in fixing this.
