. . . and another possibility - you need to rebuild your icon cache. A simple way to do this is 1. Right click on your desktop and click on Properties 2. Click the Appearance tab and Advanced 3. In the drop-down box choose Icon and make a note of the size shown next to it 4. Change the size to a different value and click OK then Apply 5. Now go back and revert the icon size to its original value and OK your way out
