I have a question about Remove the Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant (ClickOnce) Firefox Extension:

I followed all the instructions and still found a 1.1 version of the Framework Assistant extension installed as a Firefox add-on, rather than the 3.5 version which the article says to whack. So I uninstalled the 1.1 version add-on. Why not? I feel better already. :-) I run the NoScript Firefox add-on, Avast Anti-Virus, ZoneAlarm Firewall, WinPatrol Pro, Threatfire and Spybot TeaTimer in the hope that I'll have some slight protection while surfing the net with Firefox 3.5. I also continually watch all my applications and services for things I don't recognize with Sysinternals Process Explorer. Gee, I remember when the internet used to be fun!
