Thanks for your input Bob! The info I had was:RAM (standard): 128 MB PC 100, Maximum: 512 MB(2x256MB DIMMS), Speed: 100 MHZ synchronous, Sockets: Two 168 pins DIMMS, Size 32,64,128, and 256 MB DIMMS Free DIMM Socket: One, Pairs required: NO, Type supported: SDRAM, 100 MHZ, Intel PC SDRAM unbuffered DIMM specifications, revision compliant. What I got is: Dell 2x256MB HP Pavilion 168pin PC100 SDRAM I replaced both of them and computer started without problem or error, only problem is it much slower than before.
