SidebySide System error Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 9:31 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Helen~ (2547 messages posted) Hi all, I noticed that my CD ROM wouldn't start automatically, but would if I opened it from WMP. When I checked system event viewer I have a whole flood of red Xs and SidebySide system error. I googled the problem, but I think it's a little beyond me. I looked in device manager, but didn't see anything that would ring a bell. I hope someone has some advice.
