PC got hosed so I ran the recovery disk. What happened: recovery wiped all of my data which was on a second drive and installed windows on my data drive. Ok, so I disconnected the data drive and reran recovery. Everything went fine, windows worked fine, so I reconnect the data drive so that I could format the drive and start recovering my data. What happens now is Windows boots from the data drive, since I have windows on both drives. Ok, so I tried 1) setting system drive as prmiary boot drive: still boots from data drive; 2) disabling data drive in bios: won't boot at all. If I disconnect the data drive it boots fine from the correct drive. If I reconnec the data drive, it ALWAYS boots from the wrong drive and I can't get it to boot from the system drive. Any ideas anyone? Right now I'm thinking dynamite looks pretty good!
