But the catch is it is not endorsed by SBC yet, haven't tried it yet cause I can't get to that point from using XP!! Hehe. Let me know if it works! The PPPoe is PPP over ethernet. Sounds like it is setup correctly. I think the 678 error is a password error, but not sure...sorry! [Reply or follow-up to this message] re: Windows xp and SBC DSL service Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at 5:16 pm Posted by Mike (1 messages posted) 1) Go to Start Menu -> RUN 2) Type "command" click OK 3) In the new window that pops up type this "NETSH INTERFACE IP RESET LOG.TXT" (Do not type the quotes just everything in between them, then hit enter. 4) Reboot, once you are returned to the commend prompt, and then close the command window. This should reset your TCP/IP parameters allowing you to connect again.
