try to get this to work and always said my cdr4 is old get the uptdate driver ,got
5.02 and platinum update
still same error,got the new firmware for my yamaha cdrw 4416e any idee?

1. Did you uninstall your old Platinum before installing the update?
2. Have you tried the XP cd-burning option? That works pretty good, but not as
functional as Roxio.

Hi...
I had the same problem...went back to the CD Creator
people and found that they have another download
called 5.02b....I downloaded this one and it works great.

See a previous post of mine................I have EasyCD and Direct CD working just
fine.

Try updateing your firmware if you are not running Revision 1.0J. This was mentioned
in a microsoft article when Windows 2000 came out
