Printer sharing problem with XP

I posted this message 2 days ago and it must have been overlooked. Surely there is someone with some idea what my problem is so here is the message again. Any help is definitely appreciated. I have WinXpPro and have installed an Epson C20 printer - no problems. My PC is networked to another running 2000Pro and I have successfully been able to share the Epson with the other pc. However, when I right-clicked on the printer icon and went to sharing I had to run the network wizard and it seemed as though there wasn't a network at all. (By the way, the network is working fine and internet sharing is ok). I ran the network wizard again as per the printer sharing requirement and actually successfully shared the printer and tested it by printing a file on the other pc. - No worries. The problem is that when I reboot my computer and go to check that the printer sharing is ok it defaults back to asking to run the network wizard again and all the sharing settings set up have gone. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any advice.

Strange problem. Put the printer on the 2000 machine instead?

I'm not sure what is triggering the network wizard, but give this a try:

Open My Computer
click Tools -> Folder Options
click the Views tab
In the Advanced settings:
Turn off "Use simple file sharing"

Does that stop the network wizard from running when you click sharing? Let me know..

Cheers,

CD
