in order to get more free pages in the memory,the windows working set manager will trim the pages of working set of one process. i want to ask whether the trimed pages is put into page files. I test the workingset and page files of the process of windows media player. i run more other applications foregournd,the working set for the process will decrease, however the page files keep constant. any one tell me reasons?
