Unable to re-enable SCSI device

While pursuing another problem, I disabled two Adaptec SCSI (2930CU) controllers. I now find myself unable to re-enable the the controllers. When I attempt to do so, I get the Blue Screen of Death (BSD) pointing a finger at SCSIPORT.SYS. This happens repeatedly. Is there a way out of this?

Problem solved by deleting the devices, shutdown, powerdown, power up, and letting the devices get rediscovered and installed.
