i have only one user accoun in my winxp,suddenly when i open my computer (laptap) xp won't accept my username and password.is there a way to bypass the user logon so i can use my pc again? thanks in advance!

Try booting to Safe Mode and use the Administrator Account (blank password by default) to gain access to the User Accounts

i'm about to try that one but when i press F8 to boot in Safe Mode different feature shows up it's like a enumeration of my installed hardware.it's a laptop anyway.so what should i do?

wait.The System shows all your Drivers etc,then it will go to the screens where you 
select the startup Modes.

no it stays on that screen where i can't see the startup modes and when i exit on that page it proceeds to loading the winxp.

Call your laptop manufacturer, check their support pages, or look in the system documentation, 
as this is a nonstandard setup.

Maybe you shoul just try pressing F8 a bunch of times while it's starting until it works. That's how I did it. Except not on a laptop.

Can you give an example of what you see? Does it say anything about Safe mode? If so, select the first Safe mode entry.

no Safe Mode option or any other modes to select.
