OK..When i insert a blank CD into my computer it recongnizes it as a blank. When i burn a CD it says that the CD has successfully burned, But when i put the CD back in the computer to play it, the CD is still a blank. I've used Windows Media Player and it does the same ting, I've also tried with Nero. I really need help because this isnt making sense. It was working a few days ago, before my comcast internet was installed. (Remind you this computer has been fixed..so its brand new)..I dont think the internet has anything to do with it..but i really need some help.

Is the drive a CD burner or a DVD burner?

Does the drive read manufactured CDs and/or DVDs OK?

Any problems showing in Device Manager?
