another SP2 tale of woe! since doing sp2 my xp home machine will usually BSOD with
in a very few minutes of initial start in the morning. it will run fine [except 2
times] from the second start. i have error 0x0000008e [and found the exact listing
from the system messages] pointing to the windows firewall see kb889320. i can't
seem to figure how to get the "hotfix" listed. anyone know? thanks, tom t
