undoing changes made with tweakui

hello,
i recently downloaded and succcessfully used tweakui to restore some icons. because
i'm too curious, i checked
"repair/rebuild" icons and, as a result, the icons on my windows xppro desktop and
quick launch taskbar changed for the worse.
is it possible to undo these changes [e.g., the firefox icon has morphed into a blurry
version of the traditional one]?
thank you.
k.b.

You might be able to use System Restore to revert your system files to before you
acted on your curiosity... that MIGHT change your icons back; not sure.

That's a well known problem with TweakUI, the only feature that I'm aware of that
should never be used. If SystemRestore doesn't work, there may not be a solution
other than re-installing.

You might try refreshing the icon cache by deleting the IconCache.db file from your
profile directory (usually /Documents and Settings/Username/Local Settings/Application
Data). It should be automatically recreated.

Indeed.
Or you can go into desktop properties and change the size of your icons then change
the size back again. Has the same effect.
