As soon as I start the system,Windows XP style appearance changes to Windows Classic
style.The second thing is,when i
open My Computer and double click any of the drives..it doesn't open.it asks for
a program to open the file..I have tried opening it by internet explorer but that
could not be set as the default program for opening the drives. There is no such problem
when i click on CD Drive. Is this a virus??I tried using NOD32 but it hasn't yet detected
any virus. Please let me know about the problem soon.

It seems something changed the default action for opening drives in the registry.
Right-click on the drive and check which options are available, post back with results.

Ok...Go into the Registry (Start>Run, type regedit) and navigate to the following
key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\Shell\Open\Command and check what command it is using
to open (on the right side, "(Default)" key, under data. Post back what it says. I've
seen all sorts of strange files set to run when you open a drive, and if it isn't
able to run that file, it asks what program you want.
