As you can see in the link all my file names have vanished in music and pictures
folder, on the desktop they show up as should do, but not in the folders anymore,
it's not just the extension but the whole name
please help

Hold down the Shift key when selecting the folder or when selecting the Thumbnails
view. This toggles the filenames on/off.

Have you changed any appearance settings - eg, made background and font the same
colour?
