i've searched high and low for a free wallpaper changer and this freebie would have
been it, if not for the pesky splash screen that pops up at windows startup. i've
gotten no reply from adolix to my email re how to disable it. i've tried adding -nopopup
-nosplash after the "AWC.exe -startup" file i saw in the registry (run folder), but
to no avail. here's the link to the software for anyone out there who'd like to PLEASE!!
help me solve this annoyance -- http://www.adolix.com/wallpaper-changer/

fidodi,
If the program is causing problems, just get rid of it or Contact the Vendor for
support.
This is not a WindowsXP problem.
Garbage in=Garbage out.
Is Wallpaper really htat impotant????????

If you unplug your PC you won't get any irritating screens at all.
Alternatively with the help of an accurate electronic timer with an audible alarm
you can shut your eyes for the critical period - that should do it.
If neither work for you, then ask for your money back.

start -> control panel -> add/remove programs -> uninstall "addonix wallpaper changer",
problem solved.
"FREE" software is not always free as you see yourself. Its called adware.

The Splash screen is part of the Programs programing you have. If the authors don't
have a Off Button built in, then you have to live with it. That is called advertising.

Free, no Splash Screen, uses little system resources, small file size, small learning
curve.
