I can't access my Bank Records as my Bank refuses to recognize IE8. Went to Control
Panel/Add-Remove Highlited IE8, but no remove select available. So......Tried reinstalling
IE7, but won't let me do that because there is a later version installed. I'm listening

Try System Restore, if that doesn't work install the Browser Firefox, even if you
don't use Firefox regularly, you will have a way to do Banking when you want.

Did you install SP3 after installing IE8? If so, that caused the problem. The only
way to get rid of it is uninstall SP3 thenuninstall IE8, then you can reinstall SP3
if you want.

IE8 health warning

Just in case anyone stumbles on this thread looking for information on IE8, may I
stress that its beta software - that is to say not fully tested yet - and likely
therefore to cause issues.
Aside from the known ones - here
- any commercial company which takes security seriously will reject IE8 browsing
until it is no longer in beta so there are bound to be problems like the OP has experienced.
Why anyone would want to install IE8 at this time (or any other time) is beyond me,
but that's a whole other debate :-)
