This free program is great for those not inclined or brave enough to edit their registry manually. It put's all the remapping into a simple user friendly interface. I love it! I remapped the page down key to be an alternate right-side TAB key for use with the number pad. http://webpages.charter.net/krumsick/ :)

Good idea. Many users have a need to remap the keyboard for specific needs. In Europe, for example, there are many languages that use modified roman keyboard to represent letters of their alphabet. A Goole search shows may programs to alter the map. Be aware that some of these are very old and may not work in XP. And are not to be used in Vista.
Often the reason for using any of these is just to reduce the annoyance of a few keys. One key many hate is the Caps Lock. Some prefer to just lock it out altogether!
My I suggest that is overkill for just on or two keys that annoy you. There is a suitable hardware alternative and does not require any investment in more equipment.
Yes, I know I am not supposed to talk about hardware on this forum. But this is so simple and can save you for possible bad third-party software.
Furthermore, the hardware alternative does not need to be approved by Microsoft and does not have any virus or Trojan issues. Rather than going int a long lecture, allow me to just show you a picture of the "Caps Lock Key disable alternative using common available hardware resources." Click on picture below.

Oh, forgot to mention the process can be fully reversed in about 7 seconds and does not require a reboot in all current Windows versions, even Vista!
