My laptop run rather slow. These are the problems I see: My icon for the internet lost it link. I regain it for a while. I can be in the middle of something and my screen just go black like I have no power. I double check the power adapter to ensure the cord was tightly connected. Then I began to think I had a virus so as I went to check and see if my Norton-Anti Virus subscription had expired. It prompted me for and update. I click for the update and it began to run and my screen went black again. If this is a virus please tell me how can I download anthing if I can't get the system to stay up.Can any of you guys assist me as to what may be wrong? Thanks, Mira

Its not a virus. Its a hardware problem with the laptop. You'll need to have it serviced.

Mira,

Most likely you have either a Bad Display Back light Inverter or a Failing Back light
Fluorescent Tube. Bad connection or broken wire to the display is also possible.

Unless you are familiar with Laptop Disassembly and repair, your best bet is a Manufacturer
authorized Repair Facility.

I would first determine if you Laptop is still under warranty by contacting the Manufacturer's
Support Site. Also check for Known Issues with Display.
