Dual Boot to single Boot, see post..

On my XP machine, I installed Vista (beta) awhile back. When I powered up, I had
the choice of which OS I wanted to boot to. I have since removed Vista but I am still
given the choice of OS at startup. It wouldn't be a problem if XP was the default,
but Vista is and I have to sit by the computer for this screen to come up and select
XP before I walk away or it won't boot.
How can I get rid of the Vista listing and just have it automatically boot into XP?

The secret is editing the C:\boot.ini file... I'll let you do the rest of the work..

Don't be mean! Tell him to just right click on my computer and do properties.
Somewhere in there is a tab that lets him set the time out and the default OS.
