Microsoft grants Windows XP yet another reprieve By Gregg Keizer , Computerworld , 10/05/2008
The new date is a change in policy. Previously, Microsoft had planned to halt XP Professional media shipments to major computer makers after Jan. 31. 2009.

I think they should extend it to 2020!After that they could reintroduce Vista.

All programs and operating systems are "alive" as long as you keep your disks and key codes.
