Cannot change default JPG icon

Hi all,

I have re-installed Photoshop CS4 on my XP machine. When I look in a folder the .jpg
file icons are set to the Windows Picture Manager Icon.

I have set under "Folder Options, File Types" to Photoshop, and under "open with"
points to the correct Photoshop.exe.

The files open OK and default to Photoshop, but the windows Icon is still there.

Any ideas?

Regards
BP

The Icon can be changed in Folder options, under File types. You will find a Change
Icon Button under the Advanced Tab of each File in the List.

Or maybe just re-build your Icon Cache - instructions all over the net !
