How do I stop Internet Explorer from loading a "home page" when it starts?

Internet Explorer 4.0 and later:
- Double-click the Internet Options icon in Control Panel, or select Internet Options from Internet Explorer's Tools menu.
- Click Use Blank and click Ok when you're done.
Internet Explorer 3.0 and earlier:
- Right-click on the shortcut for Internet Explorer, and select Properties.
- Click on the Shortcut tab, and include a space followed by -nohome after IEXPLORER.EXE in the Target field.
